Welcoming Cheryl Head to Aspire

Aspire Procurement Training is excited to welcome Cheryl as our new Quality Manager.

Cheryl joins us with a rich background in education and a strong commitment to both quality and safeguarding. Her diverse experience spans over 12 years in apprenticeship delivery, encompassing roles from assessor to Head of Learning and Development. Cheryl’s deep understanding of quality assurance in education, particularly within the apprenticeship sector, will be invaluable as we continue to grow our services.

Cheryl’s career is underpinned by a solid foundation in paediatrics and child development, gained during her time with the NHS and Children’s Services. This background fuels her passion for safeguarding and supporting learners’ well-being, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Cheryl will also take a lead in reinforcing our safeguarding policies and culture, ensuring they are robust and effective in supporting all our learners.

In her capacity as Quality Manager, Cheryl is set to lead initiatives that will elevate the standards of our apprenticeship programmes. She is dedicated to enhancing the learning experience for both students and employers by focusing on comprehensive quality assurance processes. Cheryl will play a critical role in conducting Observations of Teaching, Learning, and Assessment (OTLAs), identifying opportunities for staff development and guiding continuous professional development (CPD) activities. Her strategic approach ensures that Aspire not only meets but exceeds the expectations of regulatory bodies like Ofsted.

Cheryl’s expertise in shaping high-performing apprenticeship teams and her meticulous approach to quality assurance will be key in driving Aspire’s commitment to excellence. She is eager to support our trainers and staff in delivering impactful and engaging apprenticeship programmes that align with the evolving needs of our learners and partners.

We are delighted to have Cheryl on board and look forward to the innovation and improvements she will bring. Her vision and leadership will undoubtedly help Aspire continue to build a strong reputation for quality and safeguarding in supply chain training.
