Encompassing the entire procurement cycle, achieving the Level 4 Apprenticeship in Procurement and Supply will enable an individual to use their breadth and depth of experience to position themselves as a commercially skilled professional with transferable skills and career options that span the public, private and charitable sectors. This will be supported by the attainment of a Level 4 Diploma with the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).

- Category Managers, Contract Managers and Sourcing Managers
Level 4 Procurement and Supply Chain Practitioner duration
Apprentices will spend 15 to 18 months on programme (before gateway to EPA), working towards the occupational standard, with a minimum average of 6 hours off-the-job training per week.
Funding required:
The levy funding band for this apprenticeship is £10,000.
The apprenticeship levy covers all of the following items:
- CIPS Course Fees, including all tutoring, books, materials and access to the Digital Learning Zone
- CIPS Exam Fees and Exam Venue Fees (Aspire does not charge for the first two exam re-sits)
- End Point Assessment
- All reviews and coaching with the skills coach
Exclusions
- Membership to trade bodies and institutions is not permitted via the levy, so membership to CIPS is not covered
- All exam re-sits, over the number mentioned above, are chargeable
- All EPA re-sits and withdrawal fees are also payable
- Any co-investment charge required

End Point Assessment (EPA)
The EPA consists of 3 distinct assessment methods:
- Submission of Portfolio of Evidence and Q&A
- Presentation and Professional Discussion
- Completion of the L4M8 exam module
Performance in the EPA will determine the apprenticeship grade of fail, pass or distinction.
