Aspire Procurement Training Ltd, the local CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) provider for Warrington, is celebrating 5 successful years of training procurement professionals in the area. Since 2012, Aspire has been helping people in purchasing, supply chain, contract management, and buying roles to become professionally qualified and achieve their MCIPS accreditation.
Mark Parker, Director and Head of Centre at Aspire, has lived in Warrington for over 40 years. He commented, “It has been a real journey of development since we set up in 2012. We are the only CIPS provider to have delivered classroom-based courses in my home town of Warrington. In 2015, we established the Warrington CIPS Exam Centre at the International Business Centre, allowing our clients to sit their exams locally. The political issues of the last 12 months have provided some great case study material for our procurement courses, especially since our USP is integrating current affairs into our courses. This makes the training highly relevant, and topics like Brexit and ‘Trumponomics’ have sparked many debates in our classroom sessions.”
Aspire Procurement Training Ltd now has seven CIPS study centres across the UK. The company only employs tutors who are MCIPS qualified and have global industry experience, ensuring high-quality course delivery supported by numerous industry examples from around the world.
