The Level 6 Senior Procurement and Supply Chain Professional apprenticeship provides a direct pathway to achieving the prestigious Member of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) accreditation.

Duration:
Full time apprentices will typically spend 30 months on-programme (before the gateway) working towards the occupational standard, with an average of 6 hours per week off-the-job training.

Funding required:
£18,000. Funding pays for Course Fees, Exam Fees, End Point Assessment and reviews and coaching.

End Point Assessment (EPA)

The EPA period should only start, and the EPA be arranged, once the employer is content the the apprentice is working at or above the occupational standards. The apprentice must have passed the CIPS Level 6 Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply.

EPA must be conducted by an organisation approved to offer services against this standard, as selected by the employer, from the Education & Skills Funding Agency’s Register of End Point Assessment Organisations. The EPA consists of 3 assessment methods:

Presentation with questions
Professional discussion underpinned by a portfolio of evidence
